Market Bots is run by Kim Fisher d/b/a Market Bots ("we," "us"). This policy covers marketbots.com, our phone lines (240) 693-3343 and 1-888-781-BOTS (1-888-781-2687), our texts and emails, and our forms.
1. What we collect
Short answer: what you type, what you say, what is public about your business, and basic server logs.
What you give us. When you use the Get Started form: your name, business name, phone, email, city and state, your trade, what you need, and any notes. When you call, text or email: your number or address and what you say.
What we find in public. When you search for your business, or we research one, we look at public information: the Google listing (name, address, rating, reviews, photos, category), the business's website, and how it shows up in search and AI search. Most of this is about the business, not about you.
Calls. Calls with our AI agent may be recorded and transcribed. We tell you at the start. See section 6.
Automatic. Our server keeps standard logs: IP address, browser, device, the page you came from, pages viewed, and time. We use them to keep the site running and safe.
What we do not collect. We do not take payments on this website. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, health information, or other sensitive data. Please do not send it.
2. How we use it
Short answer: to answer you, build what you asked for, and run the business.
- Reply to your request and follow up.
- Find your business on the map and show your local market.
- Build your Grader score and a preview website (Pro Page).
- Book calls and keep a record of what we discussed.
- Send you messages you agreed to get.
- Keep the site secure and fix problems.
- Meet legal, tax and accounting duties.
3. Where AI and other services come in
Short answer: a few trusted services help us. They work for us, not for themselves.
We share information only with service providers that help us run Market Bots, and only so they can do that work. They are bound by contract to protect it.
| Service | What it does for us |
|---|---|
| GoHighLevel (HighLevel, Inc.) and its LeadConnector phone and text service | Our CRM. Your contact record, form details, calls, texts and emails live here. It also runs our AI voice agent and chat. |
| Phone and text carriers | Connect calls and deliver texts. |
| AI model providers: Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, and HighLevel (its built-in AI services) | Read, draft, sort and summarize messages and research. They process data on our instructions. |
| Google Maps Platform | Powers the business search and map. |
| U.S. Census Bureau API | Public market data shown on the map. No personal data is sent. |
| Our own server | Hosts the site, routes your form, stores logs. |
Google Maps. Our business search uses Google Maps. By using it, you agree to the Google Maps Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Google handles what you type into the search box under its own policy.
Other sharing. We may share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or if the business is sold or reorganized. This policy still applies if that happens.
AI training. We do not use your information to train our own AI models. More detail: How we use AI.
4. We do not sell your data
Short answer: never.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have never done either.
5. Texts
Short answer: we text only if you said yes, and STOP always works.
If you check the box to get texts, we may text you about your request and our services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Saying yes is never a condition of buying anything. Our texts come from 1-888-781-BOTS (1-888-781-2687) or (240) 693-3343.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Information may be shared with service providers who help us deliver messages, such as our phone platform and carriers.
6. Calls, recordings and the AI agent
Short answer: an AI agent answers our phone. It tells you. Calls may be recorded. You can ask for a person.
When you call (240) 693-3343, our AI agent answers and says so. Calls may be recorded and transcribed so we can answer accurately and keep a record. Maryland and some other states require everyone on a call to agree to recording, so we tell you at the start. If you do not want to be recorded, hang up and email [email protected] instead.
Video meetings with us may use our notetaker, which joins by name and announces itself before it records. You can ask us to turn it off.
7. How long we keep it
Short answer: as long as we are talking, plus a reasonable time after.
- Contact and form details: while we are in touch, then 3 years after last contact.
- Call recordings and transcripts: 90 days.
- Server logs: 90 days.
- Longer only if the law, taxes or a dispute requires it.
Ask us to delete your information sooner, and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
8. Security
Short answer: we protect it, and no system is perfect.
We use encryption in transit, access limits and reasonable safeguards. If we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.
9. Your choices and rights
Short answer: ask us, and we will show, fix, or delete your information.
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what we have and who we shared it with,
- correct it,
- delete it,
- stop marketing to you,
- handle you without AI.
Email [email protected], call (240) 693-3343, or write to us at the address below. We will confirm it is you before acting, and we will answer within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent. We will never treat you worse for asking.
State rights. If you live in a state with a privacy law (for example California, Virginia, Maryland, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas or Utah), you have the rights that law gives you, including the right to appeal if we say no. Email [email protected] with "Appeal" in the subject.
10. Our clients' customers
Short answer: if you talk to Emily for a local business, that business controls your information.
Some local businesses use our AI assistant, Emily, to answer their calls and texts. When you contact one of those businesses, the business decides how your information is used, and its privacy policy applies. We process that information for the business, under contract, and only to provide our service. Questions go to the business first. We will help them answer you.
11. Children
The site is for business owners. It is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If a child sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.
12. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change is big, we will say so on the site.
